My working career started in Tasmania when I was 17 as a
'Person Friday' in a legal office. I worked my way up the ladder to become a
Private Legal Secretary for a partner in the firm. Moving to Melbourne I worked as a
conveyancing clerk, then left the legal profession to do something more important... have my first child at 23.
At 28 I moved back to Tasmania to be near family and this is where the
concept of "Barbara’s Cleaning Service" emerged. Not wanting to work for a ‘BOSS’ I decided to give working for myself a go. Working the hours I
wanted around my family was a big risk but it has paid off.
Barbara’s Cleaning Service was born
and this was just the beginning. Over the years it has grown to
become one of the most trusted businesses offering professional
and personal service to its valued clients.
Moving to the Sunshine
Coast in Queensland 7 years ago I decided to give my ‘brian-child’ a go here and the response has been phenomenal. I have always had a passion for having a clean environment in which to live and I enjoy seeing the joy I give families
when they come home to a clean house and can spend quality time with their family doing the fun things instead of worrying about the chores. The enjoyment in what I am doing shows as I love
working for myself, working my own hours and I love being my own boss.
My team is growing
and the business is going from strength to strength. I know this
is due to the quality service we provide and the care, respect and attention we
give to our valued clients.

Paul's extensive career spans over 25 years with accolades and
degrees include Bachelor of Arts (Music), Associate of Music, Licentiate in Composition, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Paul is also
a Fellowship Member of the Academy of St. Cecilia London and a Fellowship Member of the Cambridge
Society of Musicians, Fellowship Member of the Australian Guild
of Church Musicians, as well as a Professional Member of the Australian Society of Music Educators.

Paul has been a music teacher for over 25 years with many of his students going on to be professional musicians
or continuing studies at a University or Conservatorium of Music. Paul has
had roles such as the National
Manager of an Australian Piano Import Company, which has involved sales and marketing for over 120 retail
stores across Australia, performing and giving public lectures on pianos, music and marketing and also working
closely with Music Companies in Korea, Indonesia and USA. Paul
has also worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager for various multi-million
dollar companies
throughout Australia with International links. As well
as managing the BCS office and the marketing of BCS, Paul has a Graphic
Design Business
and also helps other Businesses with his Professional Business
Consultancy skills. Paul is also the Business Owner/Director of Net
Search Australia - Search Engine for Australian and
International Business.
